Well, Hi There!
I'M CINDEE.
I am a wife and the momma of two rad little dudes and one very sassy princess. I love dad jokes, vivid hair colors, and fantasy novels. I was raised in rural Wright City, Missouri on a small farm and just don't have the heart to move farther than a few minutes away. This area has always been my home! This is one reason for my passion to serve families here so well; the community we have built truly feels like a big family!
I discovered my love of photography what feels like a lifetime ago in 2012 when my best friend began to learn her way around her first digital camera. Any time she needed a test subject who would go along with her shenanigans, I was the one she called! Eventually, she asked me to step out from in front of the camera to join her behind it as her associate shooter. We team shot a little bit of everything, from high school seniors to a wedding, even a branding session for a local DJ. Eventually, she decided to pursue a career in a different direction but by that point - I was hooked! Family photography spoke to my heart in a way I never imagined it would. I had so much fun and loved getting to know the people who trusted me to capture their memories that I offered to purchase her gear and began shooting solo.
A couple years later I worked in a studio setting alongside some incredible photographers. This studio was my home for nearly 5 years but even so, I learned that I prefer outdoor photography for its beauty and versatility. I bring a lot of what I learned in the studio to every shoot I take on! I love to have fun with every session and make sure you do, too, so you have an amazing experience from start to finish!
Being a mom of three little ones, and having lost loved ones that meant the world to me, I have experienced for myself many times over how quickly time goes by. It is my passion and my mission to be there just before every blink you take, so that when you look back and wonder where the time went you have precious memories at your fingertips to relive with your loved ones as often as you like.
I grew up spending hours looking through old photo albums with my grandparents, and my children love doing the same thing! I want to help you create heirlooms to pass down to them, and their children, and their children after them so that your first priority, your family, is forever preserved in love. After losing my grandmother in 2017, I learned how grateful I was for old pictures of her and how regretful I was that we didn't have more of the two of us together. My biggest dream is that none of my clients ever have to experience that regret within their own families. Personal loss is hard, but there is something so comforting about keeping our loved ones alive and close via photos.
